Do you want to know how things were "back in the day" of horseshoe pitching?

This year, horseshoe pitching LEGENDS, Don Titcomb, Ottie Reno and Red Henton will be taking us on a walk "Down Memory Lane" during the 2010 World Tournament in Cedar Rapids.  Be sure to take advantage of this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to hear them reminisce about the past and many of your all-time favorite champions.

This event will take place in unison with the NHPA Officers Open House, Tuesday, August 3, at 10:30 a.m. in the World Tournament awards room.

You won't want to miss it!

Why not include Vicki Winston in this conversation? Yes, tape it to include it on the website so everyone at anytime can listen to it.

Vickie Winston should definitely be included as well as Merlin Potts. Many current pitchers may not realize how great these two were. Both could add to this group.

Vicki was invited to be part of this event from its inception, but due to the uncertainty of her travel plans was not named in the announcement.

She is more than welcome to join in if her arrangements allow.

I just want to verify that Tina did invite me at the very beginning.  I don't want anyone to think I was left out.  If I am able to make the trip, I will be in Cedar Rapids on that date, but my travel plans still remain uncertain at this time.  Therefore, I did not want to commit to anything.

Thanks to those who are thinking of me.  Hope everyone has a great time in Cedar Rapids.  If I'm not able to make the trip I will be thinking of my horseshoe friends and watching the website results.

It's not a Ringer if you have to measure It.

Michigan, YOU WILL BE PITCHING at the time of this event, I sure wish it would be possible to schedule these things where everyone could attend, perhaps right before the banquet, I don't know,I'm sure its difficult to schedule something for everyone...
