Player: Harold Falor’s memorable event was winning the
National Horseshoe Pitching Tournament held in February 1923, at the young age
of 15. He went 15-0, averaged 55.3%
and was presented a diamond studded World’s Champion Gold Medal and
$500. Falor remains the youngest
player to win a Men’s World title.
He pitched in five World Tournaments in total and won had 97 wins. He passed away May 25, 1967, at age 60.
