Player-Organizer: Anna Lindquist was born in 1901 and went on
to become the Women’s World Champion in 1949. In all, she pitched in nine World
Tournaments with 2nd place finishes in 1950, 1953 and 1960; placed 3rd
in 1951, 1952 and 1961; placed 4th in 1962 and 8th in
1964. She had a total of 48 games
won. She also helped establish the
West Virginia Charter in 1947, then served as Secretary-Treasurer from
1948-1963. She was elected NHPA
Vice President in 1953.
