Player: Ray Miller of Springfield, Ohio was born August 15,
1903. His horseshoe pitching career
goes back as far as 1926. He always
spent as much effort is promoting the game as he did in pitching. His won the Senior Men’s World
title two years in a row, 1972 and 1973.
Ray qualified for the Men’s Championship Class at the 1965 World
Tournament, placing 31st and pitching 65.8% ringers.
