Player: Bev Nathe began pitching horseshoes in 1977. She came from a family of champion
pitchers, her sisters Phyllis and Sandy both were Women’s Championship
Class pitchers. By 1984 Bev was pitching
at World Tournaments and had 10 top ten finishes that includes two Women’s
World Championships. The titles
came in consecutive years, 1996 pitching 81.71% and in 1997, pitching 80.38%. She has achieved a total of 109 Championship
Class wins. In Minnesota, a highly
competitive state, she has a State Tournament record of 26 appearances, 132
wins and 12 State titles.
