Promoter/Organizer: Dan served as NHPA Regional Director for Ohio from 1984 through 2007 and was elected NHPA Vice President in 2005. He served as Chairman of the Regional Directors; served on the Rules Re-write Committee, and the Medical Exemptions committee. In 2009, he became chairman of the NHPA Rules and Committee. Dan was responsible for formatting the present-day process for sanctioning courts and for implementing training clinics for certification for scorekeepers and judges. He created hand signals for giving scores to scorekeepers. Dan served as NHPA Vice President for eleven years, 2006 through 2016 and worked at every World Tournament in shoe check and directing his shifts.
