Player: Jerry Schneider was born March 21, 1925 and was introduced to the sport by his father and at the young age of 13 pitched an exhibition game against Jimmy Risk. He qualified for his first World Tournament in 1959. He pitched in the Men’s Championship Class 10 times and had a top ten finish twice, 1963 and 1968 while pitching 80.1%. Jerry won 5 California State Men’s titles and eight times won the California Elder Men’s Championship.
