LORRAINE STERNBERG, Wisconsin

Promoter/Organizer: Lorraine was elected as NHPA 3rd Vice President in 1999 and held that position for 12 years. During her stint as an NHPA officer she served as the Sanction League Director for the entire 12 years. She also served as Junior Promotion Director from 1997-2000.

In 2005, Lorraine established the NHPA Sanctioned League Team Tournament and served as Tournament Director for its initial seven years.

Lorraine Sternberg was recipient of the Stokes Memorial Award in 2007. Lorraine was Wisconsin Women's State Champion seven times (1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1997, 1999 and 2002) and was elected to the Wisconsin State Hall of Fame in 2002. Twice she qualified for the World Tournament Women's Championship Class (1995 & 1996).
